If there is ever a daily prompt that rings true to my heart it is this one.  Today’s daily prompt is craving.  You know, being 31 weeks pregnant brings its cravings.  Food cravings.  Last week my husband ran to the grocery store alone and took a shopping list with him which included “family size double stuf oreos.”  It would typically just say “oreos” but sometimes he gets adventurous and we couldn’t have that during this stage of pregnancy (sarcasm, but still true).

He came home with everything except the family size double stuf oreos.

Everything.  Except.  The oreos.

I didn’t even notice until a few days later (ahem, last night) when the craving hit and we had no oreos.  So I asked him, “did you get any oreos when you went to the store?”  His response, “no, they didn’t have any.”

Now I grocery shop very frequently, at least once a week, and I very well know that the grocery store is never out of oreos.  So I ask my third trimester clarifying question of, “what?”  To which he responds, “they were out of the family size containers.”

So he came home empty handed.  That is my story of cravings, and the cravings which I have been unable to fulfill for the past few days because my pure laziness prevents me from going to the store just after payday.  Yep, wish me luck. 😉
