DIY – Chevron baby afghan round II

I posted about this blanket awhile ago and was in the process of making my second (seen in purple, below).  This pattern is so easy to make and, if done loyally, only takes 2 to 3 weeks to complete!  The first blanket (seen in green, below) I made for my nephew’s “John Deere” themed nursery/toddler room.  The second I still haven’t figured out what I’m doing with yet!  I’m currently making a third in a blue, black, grey, and white theme.  I’ll add the link to the pattern at the end of the post, again, but wanted to let you all know what it would look like with the colors alternating rather than in an ombre pattern.

This photo ^ doesn’t show it the best, it appears to be crooked and what not, but I just didn’t lay it out carefully enough.  It is, in fact, even, I swear! 🙂

This photo ^ shows the texture pretty well, this afghan is so warm I plan on making a huge one for my living room.

I did promise that I would link the directions, or pattern, for this baby afghan, here it is done by the wonderful ladies at purl bee!
